Music festivals in the open in Croatia are becoming more and more popular. A very successful last year is behind us, we enjoyed the return of old names, but also many new ones that have emerged in the calendar. Thanks to the events’ top quality, superb entertainment and, did we mention, the natural beauties of this tourist destination on the Mediterranean, Croatia is truly becoming festival destination on the European continent. As the founder of the Hideout Festival in Novalja Mark Newton said, a combination of favorable low-cost airlines and outside-the-Eurozone prices has suddenly made Croatian festivals very attractive, compared to beer for the price of 12 pounds on Ibiza. Secondly, on Ibiza there is no more music in the open after 11 pm, in Croatia there is.
Croatia offers to lovers of electronic music a varied contents everyone will be able to choose what suits him best, whether those are festivals with strong DJ names on a huge stadium or beach parties that last day-night. It sounds attractive, doesn’t it? Below we bring you the ten most important music festivals in Croatia during 2017 and one more you shouldn’t miss.

Festivalgoers can participate in various workshops and activities: talks on marine biology, astronomy, presentation of movies in the open air and indoor, freediving to an underwater sculptures’ park and more.
